{"id":5619,"date":"2026-01-28T16:16:38","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T09:16:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/st4sd.vn\/?post_type=career&#038;p=5619"},"modified":"2026-02-04T17:48:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T10:48:20","slug":"technical-assistant","status":"publish","type":"career","link":"https:\/\/st4sd.vn\/en\/career\/technical-assistant\/","title":{"rendered":"Technical Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BACKGROUND<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Helvetas Vietnam is seeking a full-time dynamic and motivated Technical Assistant for the SECO-funded project <strong>\u201cSwiss Tourism for Sustainable Development Project (ST4SD)<\/strong> in Vietnam\u201d, 2023-2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ST4SD project, financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), aims at making Viet Nam\u2019s tourism sector more sustainable and inclusive. As part of the economic development cooperation of Switzerland for Viet Nam, it is implemented by the consortium of Helvetas Vietnam, a Swiss international NGO, and the CRED Tourism &amp; Agriculture Solution Consulting Company Limited, a Vietnamese NGO. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism appointed the Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) as the project owner. ST4SD promotes sustainable tourism as a driver of economic growth, cultural preservation, and environmental stewardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As <strong>Technical Assistant<\/strong>, you will provide technical coordination and support to the project team. Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support administrative duties such as formal communications with governmental counterparts, reporting, editing and translation of reports and presentations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the implementation of the ST4SD grant program, collect and archive documentation, follow-up with grantees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate and support the technical team with administrative duties as requested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in creation of high-quality visual communications products and support the management and content updating for the project\u2019s digital platforms (websites, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide logistical and communications support for project events, campaigns, media trips, and donor visits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum Bachelor degree in Tourism, development studies, international relations, communications or equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent English writing and editing skills \u2013 especially for donor and technical reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholders from the public and private sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and local development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with grant program implementation is an advantage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to travel nationally to project sites and activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior experience in sustainable tourism, development cooperation or donor funded project is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected candidate is expected to start on 1<sup>st<\/sup> March 2026 with a one-year full-time contract (renewable)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates please send application \u201c<strong>Technical Assistant \u2013 ST4SD\u201d <\/strong>including CV, motivation letters, references and copies of diplomas to <a href=\"mailto:Helvetas.vietnam@helvetas.org\">Helvetas.vietnam@helvetas.org<\/a> by <strong>08.02.2026<\/strong>.
