You\u2019ll work in a collaborative team environment and contribute to meaningful change in Vietnam\u2019s tourism sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ufeffHelvetas Vietnam is seeking a full-time dynamic and motivated Technical Officer for the SECO-funded project&nbsp;<strong>\u201cSwiss Tourism for Sustainable Development Project (ST4SD)<\/strong>&nbsp;in Vietnam\u201d, 2023-2027. ST4SD is implemented by HELVETAS in partnership with CRED and aims to foster inclusive and sustainable tourism in Vietnam. ST4SD promotes sustainable tourism as a driver of economic growth, cultural preservation, and environmental stewardship. The project supports both public and private tourism stakeholders and focuses on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sustainable product and destination development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human resource development for Vietnam\u2019s tourism sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical support for sustainable tourism policy implementation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you will do<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As <strong>Technical Officer<\/strong>, you will provide cross-cutting technical, coordination, and quality assurance support to the project team. Key responsibilities include:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the Team Lead in project planning, reporting, and coordination<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lead the preparation and editing of high-quality donor progress reports<\/strong> in English, ensuring alignment with Swiss SECO standards, MEL indicators, and project results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with technical teams to synthesize achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the application of <strong>MEL tools<\/strong>, including data collection, indicator tracking, and results documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the development and writing of communication products, success stories, and technical content:<ul><li>Assist in technical input for policy development and stakeholder dialogues<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Contribute to tourism workforce training initiatives<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Support sustainable product and destination development<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaborate on communications and project visibility efforts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure technical consistency across project components<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we are looking for<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum Bachelor degree in Tourism, development studies, international relations, communications or equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong coordination, analytical and communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent English writing and editing skills \u2013 especially for donor and technical reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and local development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with MEL systems and understanding of development project indicators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to travel nationally to project sites and activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior experience in sustainable tourism, development cooperation or donor funded project is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to apply<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates please send application \u201c<strong>Technical Officer \u2013 ST4SD\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>including CV, motivation letters and copies of diplomas to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Helvetas.vietnam@helvetas.org\">Helvetas.vietnam@helvetas.org<\/a>.
