PARnerS OF THE ST4SD PROJECT
The ST4SD project implements activities to develop sustainable tourism in Vietnam together with the Departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in three localities as well as domestic and Swiss training institutions.

The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (DoCST) is a specialized agency under the provincial People’s Committee with the function of advising the province on state management of culture, physical education, sports, and tourism.
During the project implementation, the ST4SD project cooperates closely with the DoCST of the 3 provinces and supports the process of drafting and implementing policies, plans, and masterplan for sustainable tourism development in the localities. The project also assists the enhancement of public-private dialogue mechanism with the sharing on knowledge and expertise of international and Swiss experts.
Besides, the project discusses with leaders of the provinces to promote the planning and development of innovative models for tourism companies and destinations to strengthen the sustainability.

Its lecturers have extensive expertise and years of experiences in implementing tourism projects, including tourism management, consulting on destination and product development strategies, and tourism promotion.
The experts from HSLU provided capacity building and sustainable tourism development for various projects in Kyrgyzstan, Albania, Hungary and developed Swisstainable — a sustainability program for Swiss tourism.
With Swiss expertise and experiences, HSLU experts will support Vietnam in sustainable tourism policymaking progress at national and provincial level as well as give consulting on sustainable tourism destination and product development that is suitable for Vietnam’s actual conditions.

Established in 2020, IBH Academy is a unit of the Indochina Beach Hotel JSC, focusing on training, fostering, and developing human resources who have professional knowledge and skills in the hospitality industry following international standards.
Not only will students be equipped with in-depth knowledge in the fields of tourism, restaurants, housekeeping, front office, etc but they can also practice professional skills, experience and apply the knowledge in practical environment.
Besides, the Academy provides consulting services to partners on human resource management solutions, helping them build and develop professional, stable and quality human resources.

Established in 1991, the Saigon Tourism College is a specialized institute in training high-quality tourism human resources for Ho Chi Minh City and nearby provinces. The institute has more than 33 years of training human resources and providing over 40,000 employees in tourism management, travel and hotel management, tour guides (for both international and domestic markets).
The training program, with practices containing 70% and experienced lecturers, helps students be equipped with in-depth and practical knowledge, meeting needs of the labour market. The college also assists students in finding employment during their studies at College and postgraduation.

The National Economics University is one of the largest universities in economic management and business administration in Vietnam. The Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality is the first faculty to provide training on economic management and tourism business in Vietnam with nearly 30 years of development.
The faculty aims to be the leading unit in providing high-quality management human resources for the tourism industry. It has trained thousands of bachelors, masters, doctors, as well as officers of tourism organizations and companies to meet demands of the labour market.

During its 29 years of establishment and development, Van Lang University has focused on cultivating practical knowledge of students for future careers and make positive impacts on the society.
The training programs of the Faculty of Tourism equip students with necessary knowledge, skills, and professional qualities to meet recruitment demands of Vietnamese and foreign companies, aiming for ASEAN and international integration.
