With the support from the ST4SD project, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism will implement strategies and plans to develop sustainable tourism, oversee the maintenance or development of new mechanisms for public-private dialogues on tourism development with the participation of the private sector such as business support organizations (BSOs), associations, the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) to ensure that the Vietnam’s tourism industry recovers and develops in a sustainable way.
The project will support the development of the framework for dialogue to enable the private sector to participate in events such as the Vietnam Green/ Tourism Forum. International experts from the Lucerne University of Applied Science and Arts (HSLU) will provide consultation in this field.
The enhancement of public-private dialogues will contribute to implementing the Vietnam Development Strategy until 2030 and the Vietnam Tourism Marketing strategy until 2030 as well as resolutions and directives on fast and sustainable development issued by the Government and the Prime Minister.
