DEVELOPING the model of
CULTURAL TOURISM
in Quang Nam Province

The ST4SD project supports the development of sustainable tourism in Cam Ha commune, a famous tourist destination in Hoi An city known for the Tra Que vegetable village, which has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage. This initiative aligns with the green and sustainable development orientation of Quang Nam province.

With the consultation of experts from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and local specialists, the existing tourism products in Cam Ha commune will be renewed and made more attractive in a sustainable direction. Furthermore, Cam Ha can leverage its strengths to develop new sustainable products and destinations, thereby not only generating income for the local community but also preserving local cultural values.

The project will coordinate the establishment of a destination management organization in Cam Ha commune, promoting collaboration among tourism companies in marketing and promoting tourism, as well as supporting existing sustainable tourism businesses in the area.
