JOB DESCRIPTION
The Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development project in Vietnam (ST4SD) aims at making Vietnam’s tourism sector more sustainable and inclusive. It is financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and co-implemented by the consortium of Helvetas Vietnam, a Swiss international NGO, and Center for Rural Economy Development (CRED), a Vietnamese NGO.
The ST4SD project works in three target provinces, namely Quang Nam, Ha Giang, and Dong Thap, to support provincial strategy development for sustainable tourism.
Currently, the ST4SD project is seeking National Consultants to do tourism research, specifically as follows:
- A National Consultant to review the potential of specific sites for community-based development in Ha Giang province
- A National Consultant to develop sustainable tourism products, focusing on community-based tourism products in Ha Giang province
- A National Consultant to develop sustainable tourism products, focusing on agritourism products in Cam Ha Commune, Hoi An City, Quang Nam province
- A National Consultant to review and propose a roadmap to complete the Green Standards for Quang Nam province to be recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC)
- A National Consultant to provide crucial data regarding the current tourist activity, supply chains, and potential future demand in Quang Nam province
- A National Consultant to develop sustainable tourism products, focusing on ecotourism products in Dong Thap province
- A National Consultant to provide qualitative and quantitative data on Sa Dec Flower City and Tram Chim National Park, tourist perceptions, and requirements.
