The Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development (ST4SD) project, funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and implemented by HELVETAS Vietnam in collaboration with CRED, is seeking a national consultant to provide technical support for the organization of the Annual National Green Tourism Forum, to be hosted by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in Da Lat City, September 2025.
This consultancy aims to support the effective preparation, implementation, and follow-up of the forum, contributing to the development of an Action Framework for Green Tourism Development in Vietnam, the establishment of a Green Tourism Network, and the identification of innovative approaches to sustainable tourism destination management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a background paper on green tourism in Vietnam and globally.
- Design the forum agenda, structure, and field visit program in Lam Dong.
- Facilitate forum discussions and stakeholder engagement.
- Produce a comprehensive final report summarizing insights, models, and strategic recommendations.

Who Should Apply:
Candidates with a Master’s degree in tourism or related fields and 20+ years of professional experience, particularly in sustainable tourism policy and high-level multi-stakeholder engagement. Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is required.
